BETHLEHEM: Where Christmas Began

BETHLEHEM: Where Christmas Began

Experience what life was like in a humble village in the land of Israel over twenty centuries ago on Saturday, December 8, at 4-7 PM, and Sunday, December 9, at 4-7 PM.

A reenactment of the Christmas nativity will be presented by child and adult performers at 4 PM.  Twirling angels, dancing shepherds, and singing magi enliven this adaptation of the classic story of the Savior’s birth.

Hands-on activities typical of the era will be offered for kids of all ages, including bread-making, pottery, weaving, beading, carpentry, and games.

Exhibits including scents, wool-making, food, and traditional attire will showcase the town’s culture.

Ancient Jewish food will be available for tasting.

This is a FREE event but donations will be accepted.
