Church update: 3/18/20

WE ARE 100% IN THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19
The Elders decided last night that we would only have personal contact for essential services to the needy. Last Sunday was our last in-person gathering until this virus is under control. The Elders are building communication channels to keep us in good contact as a church family with details on that coming soon.

We are an active church family for the needy in our community. It is essential at these times that we respond in confidence in Jesus and not fear of what might happen. We have “marching orders” for times like this… 

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you

Our Bible message based on these verses was just given on March 1. Listen to it again to keep your feet on solid ground if needed.

If you or a neighbor have a need, please let us know so we can respond with practical love from God at this time.
If you have a prayer request, send it to us and let us know if it can be shared with all our members or just kept among the elders.

Our usual Sunday activities of worship, highlight, prayer and Bible message will all still take place. The change is it will be in this way of safe, on-line methods for now. Instructions for how to access all that will be coming to you soon.

Pray for us all to have the wisdom and compassion of Jesus at this time.
