Children in our mountain community experienced what life was like in the bustling town of Bethlehem over 20 centuries ago, visiting a re-creation of that ancient city at Mountain Bible Church (on Dec. 9 and 10). The children enjoyed activities including bead-making, pottery, weaving, playing the dreidel game, and carpentry. They engaged the activities hands-on, enjoying exhibits with musical instruments and traditional attire. Jewish food was provided for tasting.
The Christmas nativity story was reenacted at the beginning of each gathering (three in total).
